ArabBaba has been a work in progress after 6 years.
My stories, thoughts, ideas, frustrations and loves had finally arrived in the form of this blog and other social media outlets.
I have been very hesitant to put this out there because I felt these were my thoughts and stories I wanted to share with my girls as they grew older. But, then again, I also knew that there were other Arab Baba’s (or any dad’s) out there trying to do their best to raise their kids, provide the most opportunities to them and have some fun along the way.
We are the minority when it comes to raising children and I hope that my stories and ideas may provoke some thoughts in you, create some camaraderie among us but also to give some chances for Baba’s out there (working or not) to find those few minutes every day, no matter how busy or how many obligations they have, to make a difference in their child’s life.
I want to hear from others, get advice, share common challenges and successes and most importantly, find ways to learn from each other to create a better experience not only for our kids as they go through their daily life of growing up but for ourselves as well.
I have been very lucky to partner up with various entities both here in the wonderful #UAE but also abroad. Let’s continue to make things better for our children and family. Being involved in your community and being a part of what makes a difference is what makes us better examples to our kids.
